ALOHA!

Do you work in the visitor industry? We invite you to join us in a celebration along with your coworkers! In partnership with Aloha United Way, the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association (HLTA) will be hosting its first annual HLTA AUW Fall Campaign Kick-off event on Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 at Royal Hawaiian Center's The Royal Grove from 4:00 p.m.. – 5:00 p.m. We hope to see at least 5 employees from each property/company, but the more the merrier!

Hundreds of employees will come together to celebrate their impact on the community at this event. Enjoy live entertainment, food, and prizes as a thank you for all that you do. Learn more about Aloha United Way and how together we are making Hawaii a better place to live, work, and play. Plus, you will have the opportunity to meet our community partners and hear stories about how their programs and services are making our community healthier.

We will also host a silent auction in Helumoa Hale, adjacent to The Royal Grove.

The HLTA AUW Fall Campaign will start on September 1st and run through October 31st.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

Enjoy live music by Starr Kalahiki, born and raised in Honolulu, HI. The artist’s journey begins with personal healing. Her renewed spirit can be heard and felt in each note she sings. With the loving help and support of her family, musical comrades, and a grant from the Native Arts and Cultural Foundation, she is currently in the studio recording the compositions of Hawaiʽi’s last reigning monarch, Queen Liliʽuokalani. Starr looks forward to her continued healing and the healing of the entire Kingdom of Hawaiʽi through our Queen’s music and poetry.
